JAMMU, May 28: Department of Computer Science, Govt College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu organized a placement drive for the last semester students of BCA and MCA of the academic session 2021-22.
The drive was organized in collaboration with Avi Softwares, Jammu, which is a Jammu based IT company that deals in developing custom solutions for their clients.
After an exhaustive procedure that included screening, technical session and group discussion, finally three students Nisha Pandit, Poonam Sharma and Muskan Rajput, were selected.
Avinash Kumar, Senior HR Associate and his team from Avi Softwares started the event with a presentation on working profile of corporate and conducted the drive.
The event was initiated and conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr S P Saraswat, GCW Parade Ground, Jammu. In his interaction with the students, he emphasized upon uplifting their skills in diverse form like aptitude, communication and interpersonal development.
The programme was coordinated by Prof Roopali Jamwal, Head, Department of Computer Science, GCW Parade Ground, Jammu and supported by Prof Shelly Kalsi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science.
