JAMMU, Apr 27: A campus placement drive was held at Government Polytechnic Jammu by Caparo Maruti Limited (CML), a joint venture company of Maruti India Limited, Gurgaon in which pass out as well as final year students of Mechanical stream participated.
About 70 students appeared in the written test conducted by them and 25 students were shortlisted for interview. Rattan Yadav (General Manager HR) and Manish Gogia (DGM) from Caparo Maruti Limited conducted the interviews and 10 students were finally selected for placement.
Also Escorts Agri Machinery Faridabad conducted placement drive for students of Mechanical, Automobile and Electrical Engineering for Government Polytechnics of Jammu division. Nine students were finally selected for the apprenticeship training at Faridabad.
The Placement Cell of Government Polytechnic Jammu, comprising Rajesh Khajuria (Training and Placement Officer), Rishab Gupta, Sakshi Kapai, Khalid Sheikh, Mohd Shabir and Reenu Kotwal made all the arrangements for the smooth conduct of campus placement drive at Government Polytechnic Jammu.
