Placement drive held in GCW Parade

Jammu, Oct 30: Department of Computer Science, Govt College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu organized an internship cum placement drive for the pass out students of MCA and BCA of the academic session 2020-21.
The drive was organized in collaboration with NexG IOT solutions, New Delhi. NexG IOT solutions empower to build new products/ operations across different industry verticals. Headquartered in Texas (USA), they have regional offices in Germany, India, Australia and Canada.
The event was initiated and conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr S P Saraswat, GCW Parade Ground, Jammu. In his discussion with the students, he emphasized upon creating an interface between industry and academia.
The programme was coordinated by Prof Roopali Jamwal, Head, Department of Computer Science, GCW Parade Ground, Jammu and supported by Prof Shelly Kalsi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science.
A total of 21 students participated in the event. After an exhaustive procedure that included screening, technical session and HR- discussion through virtual interviews finally 2 students, Nisha Pandit and Saloni Rajput were recruited through the event.
Chetan Pratap, Senior members of the HR team from NexG IOT solutions conducted the drive.
