JAMMU, Feb 24: The inhabitants of Laxmipuram-Sector-B-2, Chinore, Jammu have appealed the Governor N N Vohra to ensure adequate arrangement for supply of regular water supply to their area.
They further said that whenever, the supply is made in their area, the pressure of water becomes so low that they are not able to store water to meet their daily requirement. The reason behind low pressure seems to be due to leakage of water pipe near Modern Secular Institute of Education Laxmipuram, Chinore Jammu and also due to the allotment of new water connections downstream and it is seen that no gate valve has been installed to control the supply.
They further said that despite making repeated requests to the local staff responsible for supply of potable water, there has been no action on their part to mitigate our suffering.
