Plight of SPOs

Sir,
SPOs in Police Department are working hard with full dedication and discipline to maintain law and order in the State even in militant affected areas. But despite their hard work they are totally neglected by the State Government  and Central Governments. It is the extreme example of exploitation and also a violation of the directive principles of Indian constitution which envisages that there should be equal pay for equal work as they are getting only meagre salary of  Rs 3000 pm.
Our Prime Minister before election promised  to regularise them and to increase thir salary but till today no concrete steps have taken towards this direction. This neglected attitude of  Central Government  towards SPOs may prove harmful in coming Assembly elections. So we request to State and Central Government  to regularise all SPOs on pattern of ReT teachers and also give them seniority benefits from date of their joining.
Yours etc…
