Plumbing, Beauty Parlour training by SBI concludes

LEH, Dec 10: State Bank of India under its Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) successfully conducted training in Plumbing and Beauty Parlour course and 65 candidates were trained in the month long training by Rigzin Namgyal and Tsering Dolkar. Lead District Manager Tsering Wangmo was chief guest on the valedictory function.
Assuring all kind of support from SBI in futures for the trainees Wangmo expressed her hope that after getting the SBI skill training programme, participants will start working their respective field to earn living.
She also informed that in efforts to make self employment SBI provides training from time to time in different fields and all may take benefit of this.
She also assures to loan facility to set up units.
Dr. Mohd Iqbal, Chief Animal Husbandry officer talked about scope in dairy farming sector.
SBI Chief Manager Manzoor Ahmed said that the raining started with a purpose to make entrepreneurs in different fields and urged them to take advantage of such free training to set different business units.
Earlier, presenting the welcome speech SBI Senior faculty member Sonam Choszang said that the purpose of training to make them self employees and there is plenty of scope for pluming in Ladakh.
Later participants were given certificates.
