Plus 2 Forum demands regularization of Incharge Lecturers in one go

JAMMU, Apr 9: All J&K Plus Two Lecturer’s Forum has demanded regularisation of Incharge Lecturers in one go.
The demand was made during a virtual meet of the Forum, held today under the leadership of RS Slathia and President Pardeep Singh Rakwal.
The Forum in one voice demanded regularisation of all I/C Lecturers in Science stream including those holding PG degrees through distance mode within week’s time. The Forum expressed complete confidence and trust in the leadership of Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary Education and hoped that he would fulfill his word of regularisation of all I/C lecturers as one time exemption.
During the meeting, RS Slathia informed that the celebration of Lecturers ‘ Day has been deferred for the time being keeping in view the ongoing holy month of Ramazan. He said that the day would be celebrated anytime after Eid.
The Kashmir Unit of the Forum, under the leadership of Shakeel Ahmed Bhat along with Gulzar Ahmad, also participated in the meeting and urged Principal Secretary School Education not to elevate Masters as I/C Lecturers in their own pay and grade as this is huge violation of human rights. He also demanded regularisation of I/C Lecturers including those having pursued their degrees through distance in the light of Govt Order No.940-Edu of 2017 dated 17.11.2017 before going for fresh elevation.
The Forum reiterated its endeavor to co- operate the Principal Secretary Education, Alok Kumar in implementing National Education Policy in toto so that J&K becomes first to achieve the target in the interest of students.
The meeting, among others, was joined by Jyoti Prakash, Dr Ashok, Ghar Singh, Renu Langae, Pardeep Koul, Jagjeet Singh, Ashok Kumar, Sohan Singh Chib, Rashpal Singh, Amar Singh, Fida Gulzar, Paramjeet Singh, M S Parihar, Fayaz Ahmad Attar, Rayees Muhammad, Mohd Rashid, Inderjeet Singh, Darshna, Shokat Zargar, Maqbool Hussain, Ajit Singh, Dev Dutta, Malik Younus, Nizam U din Bhat, Ramesh Padroo, Shafiq Ahmed Khan, Syed Tariq Geelani, Gulam Nabi Malik, Kuldeep Singh, Sham Lal, Naseer Ahmed, Fiahaz Ahmed and others.
