Plus 2 Forum urges Govt to reconsider individual result

JAMMU, May 10: Monthly meeting of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum was held under the chairmanship of its State president Kiranjeet Kour for discussing various issues of the cadre in length and breadth.
The Forum expressed its satisfaction over getting of 29 merit positions in recently declared 12th class JKBOSE results by Government Institutions and hoped that the teaching fraternity will leave no stone unturned in taking the department to greater heights in near future.
State president of the Forum Kiranjeet Kour requested the higher authorities to take the lenient view towards the Lecturers whose individual result is below 50 percent. At the same time, she advocated to re-consider the individual result as 30 percent instead of 50 percent as notified by the School Education Department taking into consideration various ground realities.
Members of the Forum also demanded the timely redressal of the long pending demands of the Plus 2 community, like Running grade pattern to them, removal of the years long stagnation in the cadre, the regularization of all the incharge Lecturers, Principals, CEOs and Joint Directors, which has been lying pending for years together.
Forum also urged the higher authorities to fill up all the vacant posts of Lecturers and Principals lying vacant in the School Education Department through DPC/PSC on fast track basis to achieve overall academic excellence.
