JAMMU, Nov 17: A meeting of +2 in-charge lecturers of School Education Department was held and was chaired by Amar Nath Thakur, SEECC chairman.
All the in-charge lecturers in the meeting expressed concern over the recently released list of regularised lecturers and said that Joint Directors, CEOs and many Lecturers have been left out.
Tara Mani said, most of the lecturers belonging to ST/SC category have not been regularized and those regularized have been considered in open category as per seniority.
Mani said that such lecturers were promoted on basis of category but now they are denied the benefit of that. Ashwani Sharma said that regularization process must be completed within two months and the benefit of seniority should be given as per the directions of Supreme Court.
Lecturers appealed to the Lt Governor, G.C Murmu to take personal view of the School Education Department for getting filled all the 4000 vacant posts of lecturers of different streams in schools since last year.
