JAMMU, Feb 2: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir All J & K +2 Lecturers ‘ Forum, today called on Administrative Secretary, School Education Department, Dr Piyush Singla at Civil Secretariat Jammu.
The delegation was led by the Forum Chairman R S Salathia, President (Jammu) Pardeep Singh Rakwal & Shakeel Ahmed Butt (Kashmir unit president) while District President Kishtwar, Pardeep Koul, spoke on behalf of Jammu as well as Kashmir units of the Forum.
Koul raised the issue of regularisation of incharge lecturers before Singla and referred to various Govt Orders/Circulars to resolve the issue once for all. The issues of elevation of Sr. Lecturers to Principals and ACP were also raised.
Responding to the issue of regularisation, Piyush Singla said that he is studying Govt Order No.940-Edu of 2017 dated 17.11.2017 and other orders pertaining to permission. He further said that he had asked the Director School Education Jammu as well as Director School Education Kashmir to furnish data of all those teaching staff who acquired higher qualification in regular/Distance/private mode while in service. Singla said that, once he gets that data, he would resolve the issue of permission at the Administrative level by according postfacto permission to pave way for the regularisation.
Pardeep Singh Rakwal and Shakeel Ahmed Butt, pleaded for regularisation, elevation of Sr Lecturers as Principals and ACP.
The senior leaders from Jammu/ Kashmir/various districts, who were part of the delegation, included Ghar Singh, Fida Gulzar, Gh Nabi Malik, Dr Jagjeet Singh, Bal Krishan Tickoo, Ramesh Kumar Padroo, RaviKant Rathore, Mohar Singh Parihar, Malik Mohd Younous, Showkat Zarger, Mohd Yousuf, Khurshid Ahmed Shah, and others.
Thereafter the delegation had a meeting with Kanta Devi, Special Secretary SED and Gh Mohi-u-din, Nodal Officer, HRM Section.
