JAMMU, Mar 6: All J&K Plus Two Lecturers Forum in its meeting today held under the chairmanship of N S Jamwal discussed various problems of the lecturers. The representatives of Kashmir as well as Jammu division attended the meeting.
The meeting demanded issuance of formal orders of regularization of remaining subjects at an earliest.
They also appealed the Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand seeking his personnel intervention to redress the general problems like issuance of formal orders of regularization of incharge lecturers, sanction of running pattern in favour of Plus 2 community, non vocational status in favour of principals and higher incentives in favour of lecturers having higher qualifications.
While addressing the meeting Mr Jamwal appealed the Commissioner Secretary Education and Director School Education for filling up of all vacant posts of Principals, Lecturers, Masters at an earliest as most of schools are running short of teaching staff.
He also stressed on reorganization of School Education Department.
