Plus-2 Lecturer’s Forum calls on Principal Secretary SED

JAMMU, Nov 25: A delegation of All J&K Plus Two Lecturer’s Forum today met Principal Secretary School Education Department, Alok Kumar and submitted him a memorandum of demands.
The delegation comprised of R S Slathia (Chairman), Pardeep Singh Rakwal (Provincial President), Dr Ashok Sharma (Vice President), Ghar Singh Saini (General Secretary ), Kamal Lal (Chief Organiser) and others.
The delegation submitted a copy of memorandum enlisting points to be incorporated in the Gazetted School Education (Service Rules) like creation of Vice Principal post, raising the pay level of Principals, Time bound Promotion (in Situ) to 10+2 cadre and allocation of Non Vacational status to Principals.
The delegation also put forth various pending demands of Plus 2 cadre, including filling up of all vacant posts of Principals, regularisation of all I/c incumbents, removal of I/c tag from Plus- 2 community, restoration of 40 percent college quota in favour of Plus-2 cadre, repatriation of officers adjusted in hard zones, opening of sub offices of JK BOSE in remote areas, allotment of home districts to Principals and Lecturers at the verge of retirement, continuation of ATD in next session 2023 too, induction into KAS after completing 14 years of service as lecturer, sanction of charge allowance in favour of newly promoted Lecturers, formation of transfer policy in favour of SRO 202 employees etc.
Principal Secretary gave patient hearing to the delegation and passed instructions to the Special Secretary to keep these points into consideration while framing the Gazetted Recruitment Rules and look into the genuine demands of the cadre.
Other officers present in the chamber of the Principal secretary SED, were Special Secretary SED, Additional Secretary SED, Director SED, Director Finance and Director SCERT.
