JAMMU, Jan 22: All JK +2 Lecturers’ Forum held divisional level meet at Teachers’ Bhawan Jammu under the chairmanship of RS Slathia and Pardeep Singh Rakwal.
Various burning issues were discussed at length in the meeting. The main two issues that were discussed included regularisation of all I/ C Lecturers in one go including those who have acquired their degrees through distance mode in Science stream in the light of Govt Order No.940-Edu of 2017 dated 17.11.2017 and SRO- 339 of 2005. The Forum expressed resentment over the Department of School Education going for verification after verification just to harass the I/C Lecturers for nothing as the verification of their degrees stands already done.
The president, Pardeep Singh Rakwal urged Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Principal Secretary School Education, Alok Kumar, to implement Govt Order No.114- GAD of 2019 dated 23.01.2019 which calls for one time exemption to School Education Department for making regularisation/promotions of officers of Gazetted cadre ( Back log and fresh) without referring the cases to JKPSC/DPC. The meet hoped that this order would be implemented and all the I/C lecturers would be regularized in one go.
R S Slathia advocated for granting ACP in favour of officers of +2 Cadre as they work in one grade for years together denying them the benefit of running grade.
