JAMMU, July 5: A delegation of All J&K Plus-2 Lectures’ Forum led by its president, Kiranjeet Kour, today met Minister of State for Education, Culture and Public Relation, Priya Sethi and submitted a Memorandum.
To bring the grievances faced by Plus-2 cadre through the memorandum highlighting therein the immediate issues such as non-drawl of salary of some members of the cadre for couple of months, who are suffering a lot.
The delegation discussed in detail on the proposal Draft of transfer policy. Besides, the benefit of running grade to Plus 2 lecturers like others in the pre revised pay scale of 8000-13500 as per SRO 225, regularization of all in charge incumbents, non vocational status to Principals and revival of 40% college quota was also discussed.
The Minister was kind enough to assure the delegation that their grievances and other issues along with a new transfer policy shall be accented priority.
Overall scenario of Plus 2 component of school education was also discussed with the Minister, who gave a patient hearing to the delegation.
The prominent amongst the present were NS Jamwal, Charan Dass, Talib Hussain, Dr SushZma, Dr Satbir Gupta, Deepak Sharma, RS Salathia, Tarsem Singh, Jyoti Sarup, Kashmir Singh, Ajmer Singh, Anil Kumar Sharma, Pardeep Singh and Sanjay Bhagat.
