JAMMU, Nov 3: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum has urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Education Minister Sakina Itoo to order regularisation of Incharge plus 2 Lecturers.
Under the leadership of Pardeep Singh Rakwal, Shakeel Ahmed Butt (presidents Jammu and Kashmir), RS Salathia, Fida Gulzar (Chairmen , Jammu and Kashmir), All J&K +2 Lecturers’ Forum, today held a monthly meet in virtual mode to discuss issues, objectives and goals with respect to academic excellence and rights of the lecturers in particular and +2 officers in general.
Highlighting the issue of regularisation of Incharge lecturers, leaders of the Forum said that since there is no additional financial burden on the exchequer on account of regularisation in view of provision of salary component already in the budget, there should be no hitch for the Govt to deliver justice to Incharge lecturers by regularising them.
Requesting CM Omar Abdullah to intervene, the Lecturers’ Forum urged Education Minister Sakina Masood Itoo to address the issue of regularisation on top priority. The Forum leaders urged CM Omar Abdullah and Sakina Itoo to direct Principal Secretary School Education Department, to issue regularisation orders in favour of Incharge lecturers as they have fulfilled all the formalities umpteen times.
Welcoming the ‘action mode’ of the present dispensation, the Forum hoped that it would address the issue of regularisation of Incharge lecturers within less than a month.
The other issues that were discussed in the virtual meet, include grant of ACP and filling up of all vacant posts of Principals by elevating Senior Lecturers in the best interest of students of the J&K.
The virtual meet was also attended by Ghar Singh ( General Secretary), R K Padroo, BK Tickoo, Gh Nabi Malik, Kamal Lal, Renu Lengeh, Surinder Mandhyal, Pardeep Koul, Jagjeet Singh, Ashok Kumar, Mohar Singh Parihar, Rajeev Sharma, Rajnish Raina and representatives from all districts of J&K.
