UDHAMPUR, Nov 8: The monthly meeting of the District Udhampur unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum was held, here today under the chairmanship of Ashok Sharma, District President of the Forum.
In the meeting, the participants had a threadbare discussion on the various problems and demands pertaining to +2 Cadre; such as filling up of various vacancies of teaching and non-teaching cadre, enhancement in the grade pay of Principals and declaration of their post as non vacational, removal of pay anomaly of lecturers in Physical Education, Running Pattern in favour of +2cadre, formulation and implementation of rational Transfer Policy and regularization of all Jt Directors, Chief Education Officers, Principals and lecturers, especially the leftover lecturers in various subjects serving in the Incharge capacity in the School Education Department.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Sharma demanded enhancement in the remuneration in the rates of supervisory and evaluation duties of JKBOSE, holding of various examinations in time, appointment of Superintendents and Dy Superintendents under norms and on the rotational basis.
Prominent among others, who addressed the meeting, included Pawan Abrol, Mohan Lal Sharma, Ram Murti, Luxmi Kant, Janak Singh, Karnail Singh, Dev Raj, Rajinder Kumar and Surinder Kumar.
