JAMMU, Mar 17: A delegation of All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association called on the Administrative Secretary School Education Department, B K Singh and apprised him of their issues and demands.
The delegation, led by Dr Prithvi Paul Raina, presented a memorandum to the Administrative Secretary demanding ACP to Plus 2 Lecturers, placement of about 2456 Lecturers as Sr Lecturers as per SRO 481, consideration and issuance of SRO regarding promotions and filling up all posts of ZEOs out of Sr Lecturers as these are equivalent posts.
The Association also demanded transfers of genuine Lecturers and Principals working outside their Districts and hard zones to nearby their residence, regularization of all incumbents promoted in one go, filling up of all vacant positions in School Education Department through promotions, sanction and release of Charge Allowance in favor of all promoted Lecturers.
The Administrative Secretary gave a patient hearing and assured positive action over their demands.
The delegation comprised of all Executive Council members, including Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Narinder Kumar Sharma, Kapil Bangotra and Sanjeev Kumar.
