JAMMU, Nov 16: A delegation of All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association submitted a memorandum to Principal Secretary, School Education Department, BK Singh at Civil Secretariat here, today.
It demanded MACP to Plus 2 lecturers cadre @ 6600,7600 and 8700 be sanctioned and released as per the other counter parts in all other departments before the start of New Year 2022, placing of about 1456 more lecturers as senior lecturers, proper and suitable adjustments of all lecturers unadjusted/ rendered surplus in ATD 21,or surplus due to non availability of posts at an earliest as all these lecturers are without salary for the last about six months, and their salary be released immediately till their suitable postings.
The delegation also demanded the tenure of the postings for next ATD 2022 be finalized before the start of the filling up of online forms, all posts of ZEOS be filled up out of senior lecturers as Zonal Education Officers as recently adjusted Look After Zonal Education officers are mostly in charge headmasters, in other words they are in Master Grade but placed as equivalent to senior lecturers, so it is requested to place look after charges of ZEOs to senior lecturers till the regularisation of in charge headmasters for the smooth functioning of the department, transfers of genuine lecturers and principals working outside their districts and hard zones to nearby their residences or districts and placement of newly promoted/ assigned look after principals on their posts, issuing orders for release of arrears in favor of all recently regularised principals through Director Finance SED and sanction and release of Charge Allowance in favor of all promoted in charge lecturers till their regularisation.
The delegation demanded regularization of all incumbents promoted till 31st August 2021 in one go including principals and lecturers before 31st December, filling up of all vacant positions in School Education Department through promotions of lecturers to Joint Directors in a time bound manner, sanction and release of Charge Allowance in favor of all promoted lecturers, release of a corrigendum in favor of 1700 lecturers who have been placed as senior lecturers as the option taken by the senior lecturers to get two incentive increments and one annual increment have been rejected by the AG Office.
The Administrative Secretary assured the delegation to redress all the demands of the cadre.
