JAMMU, Nov 28: All J&K Plus 2 Principals Association has demanded that principals cadre be made non vocational since they have to work for entire year dealing routine office work.
The meeting was chaired by Peerzada Khurshid Ahmed. It also demanded regularization of Principals cadre immediately. The meeting said that the transfers of the staff be made in consultation with the concerned principals.
The meeting decided to extend full support to Employees Joitn Action Committee (EJAC) which is struggling for resolution of pending demands like enhancement of retirement age, removal of pay anomalies, regularization of contractual, daily wagers and adhoc employees- the demands which in principle the Government has already agreed but failed to issue orders so far.
The Principals who spoke in the meeting included Raphael, Dilbagh Singh, A K Tickoo, Ram Parkash, S K Bhat and others.
Peerzada also stressed unity among the principals cadre.
