JAMMU, Dec 17: All J&K Plus 2 Principals Association has expressed the hope that the new Director of School Education, Miss Dev Lata will take steps in settling the demands of the principals and make the post of Principals as non-vocational.
The Association was hopeful that Miss Lata will take steps for regularization, of principals, change of grade pay etc.
The Association, which held a meeting here today also exuded confidence that all these demands will be met with immediate effect by the authorities.
While extending full cooperation to New Director, the meeting said that with lot of experience at her command, the new Director would leave no stone unturned in further improving the educational system in the region.
The meeting was chaired by Peerzada Khurshid Ahmed. It among others was addressed by S Dalbir Singh, Mr Rapheal, A K Tickoo, Santosh Kumar, S K Bhat, Nand Kishore, Harbans Lal and Hardeep Singh.
