Plus-2 PSC lecturers discuss demands

JAMMU, Apr 12: A provincial meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of All J&K Plus 2 PSC Lecturers’ Organization was held here over the existing issues and new developments encompassing the education department of the State.
In the meeting various issues affecting the dignity of the lecturers’ community were deliberated upon and it was unanimously decided that the flame of the truth will be kept burning and efforts of the vested interests to gain lost significance will not be allowed.
The CWC members discussed the long-pending demands of the direct recruits which included running Grade/time bound promotion, proper fixation of seniority, restoration of 40% quota in Higher Education and reorganization of the department.
Moreover, they cautioned all the directly recruited lecturers of Jammu province to beware of the discredited leadership of the lecturers’ community who wish to gain the support of the direct recruits to gain lost significance and relevance for their traditional vested interests.
The CWC members vowed that the cause of the PSC lecturers would not be allowed to be compromised at any cost by anybody.
Pawan Kumar, Pawan Sharma, Rishi Kumar, Manzoor Ahmed Katoch, Satya Bhushan, Manjit Singh Chib, Rakesh Choudhary, Sandeep Sharma, Sanjeev Gupta, Sandeepan Gupta, Amit Kumar, Ajay S Baloria and others participated in the meeting.
