Plus Two Lecturers Association takes up issues with Education Minister

SRINAGAR, Oct 25: A delegation of All J&K Plus Two PSC Lecturers Association met Education Minister Altaf Bukhari and discussed various issues.
The issues discussed in the meeting were implementing of running grade pattern, change of pay band two to pay band three, restoration of quota for higher education, enhancing grade pay of principals, regularization of Incharge Principals, CEOs, Joint Directors and placement of lecturers as senior lecturers.
The Minister gave patient hearing to the delegation and stated that the process of running grade is under consideration.
The delegation was assured by the Minister that all the issues pertaining to lecturer community will be resolved by December 2017 on fast track basis. He also said that the department is committed to address all the issues and is working on it.
The delegation led by President of the Association Faisal Nayeem also approached to Commissioner Secretary School Education and appealed to early redressal of all the issues.
The delegation also submitted a representation to Principal Secretary asking him for elimination of pay anomaly.
The delegation comprised of Manoor Ahmed Khan, MA Katoch, Dr Nazim, Syed Muzaffer, Syed Ishtiyaq, Mohammad Mir and Khursheed Aalam.
