NEW DELHI, Dec 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday spoke to Saudi HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and discussed the future of strategic partnership between India and Saudi Arabia.
Both the leaders have also agreed to work together for peace, security and stability in the region and exchanged views on the West Asia situation.
In a social media post on X, Modi said, ” Held a good conversation with my brother HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the future of Strategic Partnership between India and Saudi Arabia.
We exchanged views on the West Asia situation and shared concerns regarding terrorism, violence and the loss of civilian lives. Agreed to work together for peace, security and stability in the region”.
The Prime Minister speaks to the Saudi prince amid ongoing war in Gaza as more than 20,600 Palestinians, two-thirds of them women and children, have been killed.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 241 people were killed in the past 24 hours and 382 injured.
The Israeli military says the air force hit 100 targets in the south of the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours. (UNI)
