PM Modi stresses on importance of eradicating VIP culture from mindset

NEW DELHI : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said there is utmost need to remove the ‘VIP culture’ from people’s minds as he urged the youth force to come with “out of box” measures to spend their summer holidays and make use of the occasion for learning new skills.
“Removing red beacons from car is one thing, but there is need to remove VIP culture from the minds,” the Prime Minister said in his monthly Mann Ki Baat programme over All India Radio.
In his radio broadcast, Mr Modi urged the youth force to come out of ‘comfort zone” and make their summer holidays about learning new skills and sharing new experiences. “I have noticed that children have taken a lead when it comes to putting a bowl of water for birds during the summers,” Mr Modi said.
