JAMMU, Sept 27: The PM package candidates held a protest demonstration in front of Press Club Jammu demanding release of the list of selection candidates immediately.
Protestors lambasted the recruiting agencies of delaying the release of list for reasons best known to them. They said despite the assurances of Advisor to Governor, B B Vyas that the list will be released by August 31 nothing was done in this regard till date.
The protesting candidates raising slogans against the authorities warned that in case the list was not released at an earliest they will be forced to launch agitation.
The protestors in an appeal to Governor, S P Malik sought his immediate intervention in the matter. They said by delaying the issuance of the list the authorities were playing with the career of hundreds of the candidates among whom many are at the verge of over age.
