PM package employees in Valley denied salaries: CPH

Jammu, Oct 20: Terming the Prime Minister’s Special Employment Package for Kashmiri Migrants as a farce and flop show President Citizens For Peace & Harmony (CPH) and journalist King Bharati has warned the State and the Central Government of serious consequences if any of the starving PM Package employee takes any extreme step due to long delay of their salaries.
In a statement issued here today Bharati said that the callous attitude of the Central Government and the partisan approach of the State Government has driven many PM Package employees to all with some of them approaching him with threats of self immolation in front of the civil Secretariat as their children and their families were on the verge of starvation.
Bharati who has been raising the issue of denial of salaries to many PM Package employees, especially by CEO Srinagar, CEO, Kulgam, ZEO Qaimoh and to many junior engineers and other employees for the past several months, said that any untoward incident happening with any of the PM Package employee will have serious repercussions and the Relief Commissioner, Director School Education, Commissioner Secretary Education, concerned CEOs and ZEOs and heads of the various  concerned departments besides the Central and the State government will be directly responsible  for creating such a situation for the Kashmiri Pandit employees.
Bharati said the migrant employees’ who have already suffered a lot due to turmoil and have lost their homes and hearths, are at the verge of starvation due to non release of salaries. He warned agitation in case the salaries were not released.
