NEW DELHI : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tributes to freedom fighter Veer Savarkar on his birth anniversary saying he had inspired others to join freedom struggle and the nation remembered his indomitable spirit and invaluable contribution to India’s history.

He said Veer Savarkar’s undying love for India made him fight injustice against India and he inspired many others to join freedom struggle.
