NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged the new generation voters to rededicate themselves in the service of the nation and share ideas about creating a ‘New India’.
“The New India Youth will transform our nation,” the Prime Minister said in his monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ and welcomed new generation voters who would turn 18 in 2018 and will be eligible to exercise their franchise.
“We can have mock Parliaments in our districts, where we discuss how to make development a mass movement and transform India.
The New India Youth must take a lead in this,” he said, adding that the ‘New India’ should be devoid of discrimination and divisions among one another on the basis of caste and religion. (AGENCIES)
