PMG inaugurates Renovated Parcel Hub

JAMMU, Dec 24: The Postmaster General (PMG) of J&K Circle, Col. Vinod Kumar here today inaugurated a Renovated Parcel Hub at Jammu Tawi RMS.
At the inauguration ceremony, Superintendent Railway Mail Service (RMS) JK Division, Head Record Officer (HRO) Jammu Tawi RMS along with staff and other dignitaries were also present.
Speaking on the occasion the PMG said that by starting the functioning of Renovated Parcel Hub it will become more easier for the staff of Jammu RMS especially the MTS staff to handle heavy parcel mail while processing, loading and unloading as no parcel mail will be lying on the floor as the Renovated Parcel Hub has provision of ramp for exchange of mails in trolleys.
PMG said it is designed to as to make the operational staff of Jammu RMS comfortable while performing their work and the efficiency will gradually increase in coming days.
Superintendent RMS, Rattan Lal delivered welcome address and the inaugural ceremony was performed by PMG in presence of dignitaries and staff of Jammu RMS.
Vote of thanks was delivered by HRO Jammu, Brahmo Devi.
