Mumbai, July 25 (UNI) PMI Electro, India’s largest electric commercial vehicle manufacturer on Tuesday said that it has appointed Dr Aanchal Jain as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
With a Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University and an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Aanchal possesses a unique blend of skills in policy, macro-economy analysis, and business acumen.
Her relentless pursuit of knowledge has propelled her to contribute as an Economist at prestigious global organizations, in addition to being a visiting scholar at Harvard University and faculty at University of California, Berkeley.
As an accomplished economist, Aanchal Jain has consistently demonstrated her ability to drive growth and create lasting impact.
With her remarkable leadership and extensive background in economics and technology, Aanchal brings a fresh perspective to PMI Electro’s vision of revolutionizing the electric vehicle industry.
Announcing the appointment, Satish Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, PMI Electro shared, “It gives us pride to bring the second rung of leadership at the country’s largest electric bus OEM with global experience and perspective. Aanchal’s appointment is a reflection of the evolving face of contemporary leadership with dynamic fusion of global experience, vision and diversity. Her expertise will help PMI steer through new challenges faced by large electric vehicle OEMS in terms of fast-paced growth and capex-hungry financing requirements”.
