PMKSKs to provide solutions to farmers needs: Johal

JAMMU, July 25: Highlighting the significance of PMKSKs, Sarabjit Singh Johal, President Kissan Morcha BJP J&K and DDC Member Ramgarh, emphasized that these centres are being established as comprehensive solutions for all farmers’ needs.
Addressing a press conference here today he said from providing information on Agri-inputs such as fertilizers, seeds, and implements, to offering testing facilities for soil, seeds, and fertilizers, PMKSKs are envisioned to play a pivotal role in supporting farmers across the country.
He said to empower farmers across the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate 1.25 lakh PM Kissan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSKs) to the country. Additionally, the Prime Minister will also launch Urea Gold – Sulphur Coated Urea during his visit to Rajasthan on July 27.
Furthermore, the centres will disseminate vital information regarding various Government schemes, serving as a reliable support system for farmers, he said.
The senior BJP leader said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is also going to launch Urea Gold – a pioneering variety of Urea coated with Sulphur. He said this innovation aims to address sulphur deficiencies in the soil, leading to improved crop quality and enhanced nitrogen use efficiency in plants. Urea Gold is not only more economical but also more efficient than Neem-coated urea, ultimately reducing the consumption of fertilizers, he added.
Johal urged the farmers to actively participate in the programme on July 27 and avail the benefit of Central-sponsored schemes to enhance their agricultural practices and improve their livelihoods.
