JAMMU, Sept 3: Applauding Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for his passion towards making India a strong nation, BJP general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi today asserted that Fit India Campaign, a 120-day mega fitness festival launched by the Prime Minister will ensure holistic wellness of the citizens across the country motivating people to be fit and to counter the misconception that ensuring fitness is time-consuming and arduous.
He made a point that fitness and agility of people form the basis of a strong nation as lazy and lethargic people can be of no use to themselves, society or the nation.
Yudhvir Sethi was speaking during a daylong medical camp organized under his aegis. This bountiful endeavour of senior BJP leader, was meaningfully accomplished by the noble team of doctors and other paramedics from Manipur Hospital Delhi. Sethi’s initiative to join hands with Delhi based Manipur Hospital was solely to provide succour to people at their doorsteps and actively promote the Mission Fit India in Jammu region.
The camp was conducted here in the premises of Panch Mandi Sthan Temple, Panjtirthi. People of Jammu city and its adjoining areas attended the camp. More than 300 patients were examined during the medical camp. Besides, free medicines were also distributed among the needy patients.
Among others included former Minister Priya Sethi, Dy Mayor Purnima Sharma, Chairman Sanitary JMC, Baldev Billoria, Jugal Dogra, Anil Masoom, Ramesh Gupta, Sunil Sharma, Govind Sareen ,Pawan Sharma, Arun Sethi, Kartar Mahajan, Suresh Bharti, Rubina Akhtar, Karunesh Mahajan, Rajesh Dogra, Adarsh Bhagat, Angral, Satish Kumar, Vipin Shastri, Naresh Abrol, Savita Anand, Neeru Anand, Gulshan, Rahul, Nipun, Tarun & others.
At the end, the senior BJP leader expressed gratitude towards the team of doctors and paramedics who rendered selfless service and provided medical counselling to ailing visitors of the camp. He said that the people of the country are quite fortunate that their Prime Minister is keenly observing things concerning their lifestyle and giving benevolent advices to ensure welfare of the State. He specially mentioned Swachh Bharat Mission and Make in India campaigns that inculcated much needed confidence among people that they can transform India to a new nation with all the good things shunning the bad entities completely. He said objective of this movement is to bring fitness in the vicinity of every citizen through correct guidance from a professional team of experts.
