JAMMU, May 1: Punjab National Bank organized a Customers Meet here today.
150 prominent customers of the bank participated in the Meet.
R K Koul, CGM BSNL J&K was the chief guest, while Mohd Latif Mir Circle Head J&K Operations presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Mir gave brief outline of the bank‘s presence in the State since 1905 when first branch was opened at Lal Chowk Srinagar followed by another branch at Shalamar Road Jammu.
He said that bank has come a long way and at present there is a network of 92 branches with equal number of ATMs providing hassle free services to the customers across length and breadth of the Country.
Mir said that the bank has an ambitious plan to add 4 more branches during the current financial year to provide efficient and state of art services to customers of the bank.
“Banking services such as ICT based financial inclusion shall also be extended to all 328 unbanked villages of the State allocated to the bank for Financial Inclusion coverage,” informed Mir.
R K Koul, CGM BSNL J&K expressed satisfaction over the services of the bank and assured the management of all possible help and cooperation from his organization.
He said that all the branches of the bank are on CBS platform with facilities like RTGS, NEFT, Internet Banking, Credit Card, Royal Medi-claim policy and MetLife through PNB-MetLife company are easily available from any branch of the bank.
A K Mota and Suresh Gupta chief managers circle office Jammu, SS Chib, District Coordinator PNB, senior managers and prominent customers of the bank were present on the occasion.
