PNB organizes customers’ meet

RAJOURI, Mar 14: Continuing with its endeavor to empower customers and attract customer awareness about digital products, PNB today organized a customers’ meet cum credit camp at Rajouri.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Rakesh Gupta, Zonal Manager, ZO, Shimla gave overview of banking history of PNB over 123 years. Dr Gupta also elaborated on various products and services offered by the bank and also mentioned CSR initiatives undertaken by the Bank for different sections of the society like Farmers’ training colleges, Kissan Bhalak Protsahan Yojna, PNB Ladli, etc.
Subash Chander, Chief Manager, exchanged information about various digital initiatives of the bank with the customers present in the meeting. It was followed by Question-Answer session, where customers’ queries about banking products and services were clarified on the spot.
Under Banks CSR initiative, 60 girl students of Government Girls Middle School, Naban, Rajouri, Lower High School, Balshan and Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Nowshera were adopted by the bank under PNB Ladli Scheme wherein each adopted girl student will receive an annual financial assistance of Rs 2500 in the shape of stationery, school study kits along with Rs 100 as cash stipend.
The assistance will continue till such an adopted girl completes 12th class. A credit camp was also held at Rajouri, which was presided over by Dr Gupta. The camp was organized to facilitate time-bound credit dispensation under various schemes of bank and Government of India.
Four ATMs were inaugurated by Dr Rakesh Gupta, Zonal Manager at Vijaypur, Gangyal, Airport road and Channi Himmat to facilitate 24×7 cash dispensation to the customers living in the area. Under Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR], sewing machines were donated to differently abled children at JRC Home for Handicap at Udhaiwala, Jammu.
