JAMMU, May 3: An awareness camp on Digital Literacy was organized at Government Higher Secondary School (Girls) Arnia by Punjab National Bank Branch Arnia, under the guidance of S Bikram Singh Raina, DGM-Circle Head, PNB, J&K Circle.
About 120 girl students of class 9th to 12th took part in the camp and were made aware by Kali Dass, Financial Literacy Counsellor, PNB regarding digital products of the bank . BHIM app (UPI) and *99# (USSD) was explained in detail to the students. The benefits of less cash economy were also explained in detail.
Ashwani Behra ,Branch Head PNB Arnia,Jammu, explained in detail the products, Deposit and Advances in general and Education Loan in particular. He requested the students to visit PNB branch without any hindrance for their banking needs Anil Magotra, Tehsildar Jammu South, was chief guest and S Gurpreet Singh, Tehsildar Arnia was guest of honour. They also advised the students for the use of digital banking vote of thanks was presented by Kamlesh Kour, Vice Principal of the School.
