PNBMT discusses community issues

JAMMU, Dec 13: To mobilise peoples opinion regarding the burning issues of the KP community, Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust (PNBMT) organized a meeting of residents of Gol Gujral, Tiloo Talab,Colonel Colony and Patta Bohri. In the meeting the life and times of late Pt.Prem Nath Bhat was specially discussion.
The members highlighted the moral courage and character of Pt.Prem Nath Bhat. They said he had everything on his side yet he chose martyrdom to save his community. His assassination sent shock waves and as a result of which KPs took refuge in the safe environs of Jammu and other places in India.
Behari Lal Zar said that PNBMT has been relentlessly pursuing the objectives of the Temple Bill, Amateur Journalist Award and other social activities for the last three decades. He said that we also continued to raise the issues related to the usurpation of the lands of Kashmiri Pandits and also that of the temples and many cases have been able to remove the illegal occupation by way of administrative and judicial intervention. The meeting decided to raise the package employees issues on Chetna Diwas.
Chairman of the Trust, Roshan Lal Pandita assured that the issues of KPs would be taken up on all available forums.
