The speakers in the meeting expressed concern that for over a decade the successive Governments have failed to keep their word on passage of the Bill. The speakers during these meetings urged the Government to take appropriate steps for passage of the Bill during the budget Session of State Assembly beginning next month.
They while expressing their concern over the condition of shrines and temples in Kashmir Valley which has deteriorated due to lack of proper management and care, said that the issue was also forcefully raised by Biju JD MP in Parliament during a debate recently and this should be an eye opener for the Government.
