NEW DELHI, Mar 24: PNC Infratech today said it has emerged as the lowest bidder for NHAI’s two highway projects worth Rs 4,130 crore in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
The company has been declared the lowest bidder for the “two hybrid annuity highway projects of NHAI for an aggregate bid project cost of Rs 2,720 crore,” PNC Infratech said in a filing to the BSE.
It said one of the projects pertain to four-laning of 75 km Jhansi-Khajuraho section of NH 75/76 (package I) in the states of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Madhya Pradesh (MP) under NHDP III for Rs 1,410 crore.
Five firms participated in the bidding and the price bids were opened on Thursday with PNC’S bid being the lowest, it said.
The other project is four-laning Jhansi-Khajuraho section of NH 75/76 (Package II) from km 76.30 to km 161.70 km for Rs 1,310 crore, it said.
“Six firms participated in the bidding…With PNC’s bid being the lowest,” it said.
PNC Infratech, through its various subsidiaries and associate companies, has a portfolio of 7 operational projects inlcuding Bareilly-Almora (Uttarakhand border) section of SH, Kanpur-Kabrai section of NH 86 and Gwalior-Bhind section of NH 92. (PTI)
