JAMMU, May 15: Jammu University Vice-Chancellor (VC), Prof. Umesh Rai released a Hindi poetry book entitled – ‘Dil Tum Dhadakte Kyun Nahin’, written by Swarn Deep Bogal, Senior Assistant, working in the Cash Section, University of Jammu, here today.
Swarn’s another Hindi poetry book ‘Man Ki Slate’ was published in the year 2020 by YourQuote Mobile App.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of Swarn Deep Bogal for writing poetry. The collection includes 100 beautiful poems. Most of the poems are based on social issues and are born out of the happenings in our society.
Through these poems, the author tries to eradicate the negativity and imbibe humanism continuously within him.
Among others, Prof. Sucheta Pathania, Dean Faculty of Arts and HoD Department of English, Dr. Neeraj Sharma, special secretary to Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Garima Gupta, HoD, Department of Journalism and Media Studies, Dr. Padam Dev Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Dogri, Dr. Madhulika Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Dr. Parshotam Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi and Dr. Anju Bala, Department of History were also present during the book release function.
