JAMMU, May 4: The All J&K 1947 POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum today urged the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to retrieve Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) from the illegal occupation of Pakistan.
The demand was made by the Forum in its delegate conference held here at Nanak Nagar today under the chairmanship of its president Amrik Singh. The meeting among others was addressed by Surjit Singh secretary of the Forum.
The Forum discussed and chalked out the plan of Shaheedi Samaroh to be organized by the J&K People’s Forum in the memory of PoJK 1947 martyred on May 8 at Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar. The members gave their valuable suggestions on records and vice versa and appealed to the DPs of 1947 to have their presence in bulk to pay homage to the brave soldier and civilians who laid down their lives for the safety and security of the people of J&K State.
The delegate who spoke on the conference included Inder Singh, corporator, Paramjit Singh, ex corporator, Sucha Singh corporator, Kuldip Singh, Jagjit Singh, Manjit Singh, Nasib Singh, Sudesh Kumar and Kuldip Singh Kuku and Gurdev Singh.
