JAMMU, Dec 5: All J&K 1947 PoJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum has strongly condemned the murderous attack on Sukhbir Singh Badal ex Dy. Chief Minister of Punjab.
The Forum held an emergency meeting of its Core Committee members under the presidentship of Amrik Singh here, today in which grave concern was expressed over the murderous attack on Badal. Terming it an cowardice act Forum said it is the desperation of some anti national elements and the clear-cut violation of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib verdict.
Amrik Singh said that. Sukhbir Singh who was punished by Sri Akal Takhat Sahib is nowadays busy in cleaning the utensils and other Sewas according to Sikh tradition was attacked by some terrorists which is untolerable and the culprit who was caught red handed must be punished and a CBI enquiry must be initiated.
The Forum declared it a security lapses and failure of Punjab State.
The Forum reiterated that Sukhbir Singh Badal is not an ordinarily person but a son of ex.Chief Minister and also was Dy.Chief Minister of Punjab and remained Member of Parliament.
According to eye witnesses the shooter was spotted there before the attack and nobody took cognizance of it which is also fault of Punjab security agency.
The Forum urged the Punjab Chief Minister to provide ‘Z’ category security to Badal keeping in view his life threat.
