JAMMU, Dec 15: As part of Civic Action Programme (CAP), Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu arranged a tour for 47 students of Jammu Province.
A statement said that the students, studying in secondary and higher secondary classes, along with 4 caretakers, will participate in the 24th Rashtra Katha Shivir at Rajkot, Gujarat, organised by Shri Vedic Mission Trust at Village Pransla, District Rajkot, from December 17 to December 24, 2023. It said that the tour commenced at NGO’s Mess, Jammu, with Dr Vinod Kumar, SSP Jammu, and Committee members from Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu overseeing the event.
SSP Jammu emphasized the significance of the trip, highlighting the aim to broaden the students’ perspective, fostering unity in diversity, and promoting national integration, social harmony, and religious tolerance.
Notably, the participating students will enjoy complimentary boarding and lodging, along with a customized kit comprising clothing, shoes, blankets etc, ensuring a comfortable stay during the event.
