Police arrest notorious criminal in cheating case

JAMMU, July 28: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Kanachak area today claimed to have arrested a notorious criminal who was wanted in a cheating case.
According to a police official, Mil Ram Sahu of Chhatisgarh was wanted in case FIR number 34/2020 under sections 420 and 409 of the IPC registered at Police Station Kanachak.
“The accused had been evading his arrest for the past four years,” he said, adding that acting on specific information, a police team comprising PSI Baljeet Singh Parihar and Selection grade Constable Sanjay Sharma under the supervision of SHO Kanachak, SDPO Domana, and overall supervision of SP Rural successfully arrested the accused from Telangana, Hyderabad, today.
He is being further investigated, said the police official.
