UDHAMPUR, Mar 30: Police today arrested six gamblers who were playing cards on the roadside near TCP here and also seized the bet money.
Reports said that a police party, led by Dy.SP Hqrs Sukhdev Bhasin and SHO Udhampur Deepak Jasrotia, conducted raid near TCP and arrested six gamblers, identified as Sudershan Singh, Arun Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Varun Gupta, Rakesh Kumar and Rohit Singh. Bet money was also seized from the spot.
A case under Section 13/Gambling Act has been registered against the arrested persons.
