KATHUA, Aug 30:- Three persons were arrested by Kathua police in snatching and attempt to murder case today.
Police said that information was received at Police Station (PS) Kathua on August 27 regarding an “attempt to murder and snatching case”. Police said a prompt action was taken, and FIR No. 270/2024 U/S 129(2)/109/115(2)/307/BNS, 4/25 Arms Act was registered at PS Kathua.
During the course of investigation, the police team led by the SHO Kathua under the supervision of DySP Headquarters, Kathua arrested three accused persons namely Mohd Saleem, son of Mohd Shafi of Basantpur, Kathua, Altaf Khan, son of Mohd Parvez, of Maggar Khadd, Kathua and Karan Singh, son of Amrik Singh, of Lachhipur, Kathua.
The further investigation of the case is going on to nab the other persons involved.
The swift action by the Kathua police has helped to prevent further criminal activity and ensured the safety of the community, police said.
