SAMBA, Jan 4: District Police Samba has arrested a drug peddler and recovered 12 grams of Heroin (Chitta) like substance from his possession in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Samba.
Police said team of PS Samba while conducting patrolling in its jurisdictional area, intercepted one person namely Mohammad Sadiq, son of Mohammad Yousaf of Khanpur tehsil Marheen district, Kathua at present Sui Nallah, Sumb road, Samba moving in suspecious circumstances and during his search approximately 12 grams of heroin (Chitta) like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case FIR Number 01/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Samba. Further investigation is underway.
