JAMMU, Apr 21: Police claimed to have attached movable property of a drug peddler worth lakhs here today.
An SUV of one Anil Singh alias Furtila of Hamirpur, Khour, who was lodged in jail recently under PIT NDPS Act, has been attached as the property was gained through illicit drug trafficking, said police.
They said Singh is named in 5 FIRs lodged against him at Police Station Akhnoor under various sections of RPC, Arms Act, and NDPS Act.
“The seizure of the property serves as a stern reminder of the unwavering commitment of police to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society,” said police.
