JAMMU, Nov 30: A lady constable of Traffic police was injured today in a road mishap in Purkhoo area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the lady constable identified as Rekha Devi (29) wife of Rahul Singh, a resident of Patoli Brahamana in city outskirts was injured when the scooty bearing registration number JK02BK-8178 on which she was travelling, collided with a bike bearing registration number JK02BK-3227 at Jammu-Akhnoor Road near Gumpul, Purkhoo.
The injured lady constable was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
A case in this connection has been registered at police station Domana and further investigations started.
