Police cracks murder case, one arrested

SAMBA, Feb 24: One person was arrested as police cracked the murder case of an employee of Jammu and Kashmir Social Forestry Department.
As per official spokesperson, murder case has been solved by arresting the main accused identified as Jamait Ali, resident of Morah Pring Nullah, Khara Madana, Purmandal from Katwalta forest.
With the arrest of the accused, police solved the blind murder mystery, he added.
He said Kamal Singh alias Tata, son of Daya Ram, resident of Khara Madana, Purmandal, a Social Forestry employee was brought at GMC Jammu by the locals of the area in injured condition on February 17 where doctors had declared him brought dead.
However, a case was registered and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Purmandal police station Inspector Ashwani made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Samba Joginder Singh.
