Police detains youth for anti-election posters

Srinagar, Dec 3: Police detained several youth in Sopore town for anti-election posters that appeared in Sopore area of North Kashmir recently.
These people are being question for pasting anti-election posters. In the posters people were asked to stay away from the poll process.
A police spokesman said that Sopore Police registered a case and started investigation to trace out the persons responsible for pasting anti election posters in Sopore town.
“After observing some anti election posters pasted in main town Sopore, Police registered a case FIR No.198/201 under Section 153-A/RPC and 134 RP Act in Police Station Sopore and investigation has been started to trace out offenders. In this respect few suspects are being questioned”, Police said.
